Watch Muyi Thai boxing last night on Five. I've not seen anything so casually brutal on TV for a while. Basically 2 guys with boxing gloves and barefeet beat the crap out of each other. Elbows and kneeing allowed. Grappling allowed. Each fight is packaged into three three minute rounds. Each round is an intense flurry of action. I likened it to watching Fight Club, but each punch crunched louder, the elbows pounded on the shoulder blades and knees to the face more magnified than any Hollywood sound effect.

Devastating and hypnotic to watch.
