I was in a pub the other day and met Tony Blair, Donald Rumsfeld and Robin Cook talking about Iraq and weapons of mass destruction...

I said: "Isn't it funny that the troops haven't found any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq yet? I bet they never existed."

Then Mr Rumsfeld said: It is also possible that they decided that they would destroy them prior to a conflict. We don't know what happened."

Then Mr Cook said: "I mean Saddam was there. He knows he's about to be attacked. He's then going to destroy his weapons so that they are not there after he is defeated? That does not add up. If Donald Rumsfeld is now admitting that the weapons aren't there, the truth is the weapons probably haven't been there for quite a long time."

And I said: "Good point Mr Cook. Have a biscuit"

Then Mr Blair tried to change the subject: "... let's not forget this country does have its freedom."

Then everyone went home.
