Blog break
Been away for a while, is it time to return?
To be honest, I'm at a loss to do with this blog.
Should it be a diary? I'm redecorating my house at the moment, there are many light hearted anecdotes about choosing different shades of white for the living room, gay furniture designers on King's Road, and my DIY laminate flooring mishaps.
Or should it be cultural commentary? I recently finished Balzac's Eugeine Grandet and saw Sawako Decides and Dear Doctor at the BFI Film Festival. I could scribble down some notes perhaps?
Or my casual observations, the daily banalities of my office, the regular train ride to work, the lunch at my desk, and the lost conversations with friends, colleagues and loved ones?
Let me think, and then I'll decide.

I used to do this for free
Now it's part of my job.
How I Overcome Range Anxiety in Mitsubishi's New Electric Car
Wasn't such a waste of time, was it?

Well that didn't last long
I didn't post yesterday, even though I took the pressure off me to post.
It's all a matter of time.
I've been listen to Bob Dylan again recently, after downloading an Arena documentary about him off the iPlayer.
It isn't really a documentary, more like clips of him during the Newport Folk festival from 1963-1965, when he went electric.
It's great to see this old footage, but even better just to hear him. And to see the musical evolution over the three years.
Gold dust.

New year, new blog
I'm restarting this blog.
Instead of posts, it will just be a load of notes.
Not made into a flowing post. There will be no beginning, middle, and end.
Or it depends, there might be if things happen to fall in that way.
The sentences will be coherent, but maybe not the whole post. That takes too long, and time is the only commodity I now care about now.
I'll attempt to post everyday. Knowing I only have to write a single sentence kind of takes the pressure off blogging, which is what I'm trying for.
Let's start, and see how it goes.
