What Not To Watch
Watched that cookery program with an italian chef (Giorgio Locatelli) and english chef last night. It was a nice premise, two colourful characters showing what they could do in the kitchen. Presentation was good (they had music from Tricky's first album Maxinquaye) and they had a washed out yellow tint for the shots in Rome. Content was a little fatty, but occasionally spicy, but not memorable. Also a little repetitive and not enough substance. Overall, looked nice, but did not really taste of anything nor filling enough. Certainly interesting and slightly morish, and will give it another go.
Also watched Trust with Robson Green. I cannot believe I watched a show starring Robson Green. It was very mediocre, with quite a good cast. The problem is everyone is the same. No-one is distinguishable. Everyone speaks like each other. The plot was very ham fisted and predictable (with a token black and token gay, how very PC). I quite liked the pace of the show, everyone looks nice and London looks shiny and big, but is it a good reason to keep watching is it?
