Ocean, Hackney

Saw Ladytron, Plaid and Square Pusher at the Hackney Ocean last Friday. I also managed to sneak into the VIP bar and grabbed a few free beers. The VIP bar cunningly had 2 entrances, one with a bouncer, and the other with a flimsy rope barrier. Guess which was I took? Didn't see anyone I recognised. Ladytron and Square Pusher were fan-bloody-tastic. Square Pusher's set was like listening to fast drum'n'bass, whilst on speed balls and snorting Lemsip.

Don't Cry

Also saw the Hiiary Swank movie, Boys Don't Cry on Saturday, and my god, it was depressing. Then even more so, because it is based on true story.

Don't Sleep

Couldn't sleep until on Sunday. So I stayed up and played Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan on the guitar until the sun rose. It was about 5am when I finally slept.
