boxing brothers
i keep seeing these 2 brothers on tv. they are the kameda brothers and they are rising brutal superstars. the older brother is 19 and already holds the world championship belt for his weight and the second brother is 17 and made his pro debut a few weeks ago and knocked out his opponent in 23 seconds. they say his father speaks like a yakuza member.
they keep showing video clips of them training; from when they were young to now. their path of violence. it shows their father sparring with them, a big man twice their age punching back. it shows their father getting them to spar against each other. it has one clip of the second brother watching tv at home and for no reason hitting brother number three. brother three leaps up and starts hitting the second brother. obviously because of the age difference brother three is no match for second brother who boxes him without effort, until his father enters the room.
i can't help but like boxing and i can't explain why. i only like it when no-one i know is participating or fighting. in that case i can't bear to watch.
can you see what is going happen? the boys are growing up. at 19 (the father is in his early 40s) they are on the cusp. the older brother seems a bit calmer but the second brother seems like a nutcase with hair trigger. what happens when he grows up and the father grows old? who will control him then?
