Too much stuff
The chief executive officer of Scottish and Southern Energy utility company told me I have too much stuff today.
Ian Marchant said: "You have too much stuff!"
I wanted to say back: "I've only just moved house. I don't have anything!"
But there were another two hundred people in the conference hall, listening the the leader of the 23rd biggest company in the UK.
Then Philip Green, chief executive officer of the FTSE 100's United Utilities said he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and saw some poor people.
"These poor people were some of the happiest people I've met," he said in his five hundred pound suit.
I wanted to tell him stories of mothers selling their babies as they didn't have enough food to eat, and ask him how happy he thought the destitute really were.
But then the panel started talking about Ofwat's plan to deregulate the water market in Britain, and the moment evaporated.
