Brighton
Went to Brighton on Saturday, and was astonded about how COOL the place was. I've been to Brighton a lot of times, from my first memories as a child going with my parents. Almost every Sunday to the China Garden for dim sum, to spending all night there in 1999 new years eve to last weekend. If London is the gakked up, drunk, filthy older brother, then Brighton is the cool, hip, dope smoking younger brother. The North Laines are a clean smaller version of Camden, without the drug dealers, homeless, stench and weirdos. The George VI pavillion is like St. Pauls Catherdral and the neighbouring park is like Hyde Park. Then there is the sea, Brighton Beach, the pier, the view...
The city is more friendly than London, the atmosphere more relaxed. Why did I never see this before? Brighton is definitely cooler than Canterbury (the religious, foreign cousin of Brighton). Maybe when I stop looking for what I'm looking for, I'll settle down in Brighton.

Sometimes I speed read all the bits on music, cos I don't know who the hell you are talking about. Sometimes I go on just to use the links, cos they are all pretty cool. Do you know if Jamie and Chris reads my blog?
