Haircut

Keiko cut my hair yesterday. She cut it after dinner. The sky was getting a dark. I moved the standing lamp from behind the sofa and took the angle poised lamp from my room and set up an improvised studio in the garden. I was nervous. We had lunch earlier in Soho Square and we were both looking at haircuts, deciding on which one she wanted to give me. Keiko approached me with a brown wooden comb and a black pair of scissors.

Keiko looked at me carefully and stroked my shiny black hair. Then she started. Black hair started floating, dropping onto my shoulder. Snip snip, snip snip. Stop moving your head. Look at me. Opps! Snip snip. It's looking good. Honestly! Snip snip. Head down. You can look at it after I've finished. Snip snip. I need more light. Turn to you left. Stop moving! Snip snip, snip snip, snip snip...................

After 2 hours I looked approached a mirror. I liked having my head shaved. It's good to cool down in the summer. No need to waste that money on hair wax or shampoo. I looked. I was relieve. It's actually pretty bloody good!

Thankyou Keiko!
