Sweet FA

Fame Academy finally finished on Friday. It was never as bad as I wanted it to be and I slowly got sucked in. After 10 weeks, all but 3 of the students got expelled one week at a time. On Friday 3 became 2, and the public voted for our star pupil, who turned out to be blander that bland David Sneddon. I have nothing personal aganist David, but why did we go for Mr Smiley Generic Boyband? I guess this explains the state of the singles chart at the moment, with Ms Dynamite not even getting into the top 10 and the Cheeky Girls still at 2. Maybe that'll also explain single sale falling to over 40% lower than last year. Depressingly, the Popstar Rival bands, Girls Aloud and One True Voice (what a shitty name), are favourites for Christmas number one, which traditionally never been so easy to predict.

The problem is that the television shows are sometimes quite entertaining. In Fame Academy, Lemarr (who has a girlfriend) kissed a few student. Malachi and Sinead started a relationship before our very eyes. Real drama. So, my proposed solution to this: give them a big cash prize, which dimishes everytime they infect the public conscience with an interview or a single, or anything else that we might see. So a prize of £100,000. Minus £5000 for every interview, £20,000 for a single, £50,000 for an album... etc... Brilliant!!!
