Vein

Vain Men, last night. The program on channel 4 last night that showed how vain men can really be. From the gym obsessive (one man went five times a week, yes FIVE!) to "sugaring" (like waxing) and finally muscle implants. We looked at how men like to look at themselves in the mirror and look nice of the opposite sex. We saw also saw a Pec Idol, where "guys off the street" posed to win a competition to be the cover man for Men's Health magazine.

Pride is one of the deadly sins. Openly vain people look shallow. People are vain. From totem poles to codpieces to flash cars and cigars, men will always want to look good to attract the opposite sex. Anyone who knows men or is a man should find this blatantly obvious. That's why we use shave and use hair gel. That's why we don't like to look fat and half the blokes I know visit the gym 3 times a week and use moisturiser. Can no-one see the irony of dedicating a hour show to vain men? The sugaring process also showed an unpleasant close up of a man's hirsute ringpiece, before having the hairs ripped out of it. Does anyone really need to see this?

Liquid Gold

Went to Harrods yesterday and saw a 250ml bottle costing £52. It contained olive oil. I also walked on a Persian rug costing twice as much as a new BMW.
