Xmas

it isnt celebrated in japan, but they have xmas lights, xmas presents, xmas cakes and xmas parties. it doesnt feel xmassy at all though. all that glitters isnt gold.

moving flat soon, to a single roomed flat. often called a studio. this is called a very small studio. it has a nice view of the park though, and is about 250 pounds a month, so cant complain. the start up cost is around a grand. in japan you have to pay key money and thankyou money. 2 months rent key money, one month thankyou to the landlord, half a month thankyou to the estate agent and various cleaning fees and insurance. key money is non refundable. this is japan.

saw last samurai. was very good. ken watanabe acted tom cruise off the tatami mat. didnt like the very end though. its a bit like braveheart crossed with wild bunch set in fedual japan.

it snowed here on saturday. buckets of the stuff. it was very romantic. serene and cold. i had to work though, and we had a snow ball fight at lunchtime, just like at school. pedestrians just looked on. most of it has melted now.

met another girl born in the same hospital as me last week. what are the chances?

heard warren zevons last album. its pretty damn good. very dylanesque. hell, he even covers knocking on heavens door.

i also saw a homeless woman squat for a piss outside the train station too. that was a bit distubing.

And last of all, Merry Christmas.
