Eating Food #8 - Baked Beans
I love baked beans. When I was living in Japan, I really missed baked beans.
I can eat baked beans straight out of the can. When I went to Glastonbury, I ate value Tesco beans straight from the can. I ate it at night, around the campfire, whilst watching the plastic bags and newspapers burn. I ate it in the cold morning, wondering what time it was and trying to plan which bands to see.
I can eat baked beans with anything. I eat it with bread and toast; with rice and chips. I can put cold baked beans straight onto hot boiled rice. I can eat baked beans and a fried egg. I never tried to poach an egg in the tomato sauce. That thought just came to me now.
I can cook baked beans with different things. I used to cook it with milk or butter. At university I cooked it with Tabasco sauce. Others used baked beans as a filling in a sandwich toaster. I didn't try that, but I wish I did.
Which beans are best? Again, I've not done a taste test. I should buy a can of every brand. I should ask someone to put them into bowls so I couldn't be influenced by the label. I should taste them all and give them a rating. But I haven't. I'm a brand whore. I have tried a few; but always go back to the same one. Heinz. What a slag.

You're one sick fuck. Cold baked beans? You might as well eat stomach lining chunks that have been spewed up after a rather boozy night on the tiles. Ewwwww.
Is this more of your code?
Were you there when we chucked a can of beans in the fire, and then the can exploded, and that guy came out of his tent and laughed; not realising the beans had splattered all down the side of his tent?
Well, it was bloody hilarious.
